For more than 50 years, GIBO Art Glassworks has been creating and developing high-quality, lead-bound stained glass windows made with techniques such as Art Deco, Tiffany, fusion, collage and double-chamber, framed in special stainless steel frames. These stained glass windows, treated with a blowtorch, are extremely resistant to decay, acid rain and saline environments.
The craftsmanship of GIBO's artisans is nationally recognized, having restored the stained glass windows of some of Italy's most iconic Catholic churches, including:
St. Mark's Basilica in Venice,
Basilica of St. Anthony in Padua,
Basilica of Santa Chiara in Assisi.
The GIBO factory is distinguished by its specialization in glass fusing, an advanced technology that allows 24-karat gold and platinum to be incorporated within the glass, fusing them at 1,000 degrees. This technique is used to create exclusive luxury items, including closets, walk-in closets, bedrooms, walls, tables, mirrors, doors, partitions, ceilings, lamps, bathroom furniture, tiles, columns and more, making each project a unique and elegant work of art.
